Inga Auhagen-Schätzle is a recognized expert in AI and cloud infrastructure with a proven track record in strategic growth as well as in building and scaling highly critical data center environments.
As COO of Genesis Cloud, she was responsible for scaling infrastructure to 100 MW of GPU capacity. In this role, she designed and implemented operational management systems as well as operating and data architectures, laying the foundation for transparency, scalability, and sustainable growth in a highly dynamic cloud environment.
Previously, she served as VP Group Operations & CISO at Northern Data AG. There, she led the group-wide implementation of ISO 27001, oversaw the Europe-wide rollout of 22,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs, scaled the organization from approximately 20 to more than 200 employees, and acted as Managing Director for Northern Europe with responsibility for the European data center portfolio.
Inga built her professional foundation in data center infrastructure, industrial operating models, and management systems through senior roles at Siemens Energy and Siemens Smart Infrastructure. In complex industrial and infrastructure projects, she gained early experience in managing large-scale technical programs, establishing robust governance structures, and integrating management systems into day-to-day operations.
This combination of industrial foundation, operational leadership experience, and deep expertise in standards and governance shapes the Heartland approach of establishing management systems as both strategic and operational control instruments for critical infrastructure.
